Each year the NDAEA Awards Program offers the opportunity to nominate outstanding Art Educators in all Divisions and Regions. NAEA then recognizes these awardees from each state for national recognition at the annual conference. The purpose of the Art Educator of the Year Award is to honor an outstanding NDAEA member for service and contributions to the field of art education in recognition for their dedication, innovative teaching methods, and profound impact on the artist growth of learners.
